Well we got close this year...we reached the finals...BUT on this particular evening the visitors had our number...we did not come out with the confidence or the heart we needed to win...and we would have had to play our best game to beat what was a very good Forrest Hills team...they were on...they hit consistent high scores and rarely missed an out shot opportunity...

We didn't shoot our best game of the year...but it certainly wasn't one of our worst...we had a team average of 50.47...and everyone shot over a 45 average...BUT every shot a game in the 30's or less...that's not so good...

we only had 4 missed outs (and 3 of them were in one game)...which means one thing...they got to their outs quicker and closed them....

I just want to thank everyone for a good season...hope everyone had fun...

Ed had a 45.85 average with a ton....sorry captain but i can't let this one game's performance go...yes Ed shot a worse than skippy like performance in one game with a horrid 6.67 average...let's recap...5, 7, 8....no that's not some kind of cheer...they were his three scores for the game....ughghghghgh...

Johnny shot a 46.23 average with a ton...he finished the night with the team high 50% win rate...

Jr shot a 46.92 average with 2 tons....

Andy shot a 46.89 average and finished the night tied with a 50% win rate...

Skippy thinks that he could have been the difference...but nonetheless was surprised to hear we didn't win...

Kenny shot a very nice 58.39 average with 3 tons...

Frank was there for moral support...and to give me luck on the outs...

which brings us to yours truly...I shot a 54.42 average with 2 tons and 2 double outs...

well another season behind us...i feel like we really started clicking at the end of the second half...we had a bunch of weeks where EVERYONE shot some great darts...don't be a stranger to your darts in the off season...try picking them up and practicing...

The second half regular season is over...so I figured I'd hand out some DARTIES (good) and FLIGHTIES (bad) AWARDS....

The DARTIE for Average goes to Jeff (62.70) yours truly for shooting over a 55 every week (and over a 70 in one week).......runner up goes to Jr (51.26) who only shot 1 time under a 45...

The FLIGHTIE for Average goes to Frank (44.27) for shooting 2 weeks under a 40 average....runner up goes to Ed (46.13) with 1 week under a 40 average....

The DARTIE for Highest Average in a single '01 game goes to Jeff with a 100.00...and runner up goes to Jr with a 94.00...

The FLIGHTIE for Lowest Average in a single '01 game goes to Kenny (23.00) who shot a low game in the 20's during 3 weeks....runner up goes to Ed (26.75) with 4 weeks with a low average in the 20's....

The DARTIE for Highest Score goes to Jeff with 4 weeks with a 140...runner up goes to Ed who shot a 135, Andy who shot a 133 during 2 weeks, Kenny and Frank for each hitting a 133....

The FLIGHTIE for Lowest Score goes to Jeff who had a 3 on two separate weeks...Runner up goes to Ed who had an under 9 every week except 2....and Johnny b/c he had a 3....

The DARTIE for Tons goes to Jeff who shot at least 3 tons every single week (41 at 17.52%)...runner up goes to Ed who only had 1 week without a ton (11 at 4.66%) and Johnny (14 @ 7.11%) & Jr (13 @ 5.83%) who only had 2 weeks without a ton...

The FLIGHTIE for Tons goes to Frank (4 at 3.39%) and Andy (4 @ 2.31%) for not reaching double digits....

The DARTIE for under 9's goes to Andy who shot 1 (0.58%)......runner up goes to Frank who only shot 2 under 9 in the second half (1.69% rate) and Kenny who shot 3 (1.55%)...

The FLIGHTIE for under 9's goes to Ed with 14 (5.93%) and had at least one under 9 every week he shot except 2....runner up is Jr with 8 at 3.59% who shot at least one under 9 every week he shot except 3....

The DARTIE for Double Outs goes to Jeff with 18 and a 35.29% double out rate...the runner up goes to Johnny (15) with a 37.50% double out rate and Ed (15) with a 34.88% double out rate...

The FLIGHTIE for Double Outs goes to Frank (5 @ 15.15%), Andy (7 @ 17.95%) and Kenny (8 @ 23.53%) for not reaching double digit outs...

The DARTIE for '01 Win Rate is Johnny 69.81%...runner up is Jeff with 68.33%....honorable mention is Andy with 68.09%...

The FLIGHTIE for '01 Win Rate is Jr with 61.11%...runner up is Kenny with 65.31%...which is still fairly decent...

The DARTIE for Cricket Average goes to Jeff for shooting over a 2.0 average every week (2.69)...runner up goes to Ed (1.99) and Johnny (1.92) for not shooting below a 1.50 all half...

The FLIGHTIE for Cricket Average goes to Frank (1.46) for never shooting over a 2.0 average...runner up goes to Jr for shooting below a 1.0 during a week...

The DARTIE for Cricket High Marks in a Round goes to Jeff with 9...runner up is Kenny with 7....

The FLIGHTIE for Cricket Low Marks in a Round goes to Jr and Andy who shot a 0-mark round in over half their games...

The DARTIE for >= 3-Mark rounds goes to Jeff for having at least 2 every week (32 at 49.23%)....runner up goes to Jr (18 at 27.27%) & Ed (18 at 27.27%) for having at least 2 every week except 3...honorable mention goes to Johnny (16 @ 28.57%) for having the second highest %...

The FLIGHTIE for >= 3-Mark rounds goes to Frank (4 at 14.81%) and Kenny (10 at 18.87%) for not hitting at least 20% ....
