16-17 2nd Half | Commentary

it's the semi-finals...we are playing the 1st place Bridesburg Pub...we snuck by them in the 1st half semi-finals on our way to a 1st half championship....can that magic happen again??? it's going to be a bigger struggle this time without Johnny and Urban...but we get the night start right with a big win from a big 99 out by Matt...then we go on a 4 game losing streak...then we swap wins with the next 2 801 games...now it's time to load up...and we go on a 4 game winning streak including a very long and crazy cricket game...so we are up 6-5...with Ed, Hop and Andy all that's available on the bench....can they win 2 out of the last 4 games to move us into the finals??? check the conclusion .... same bat time...same bat channel....

CONCLUSION

we finish the regular season in last place...we beat the 4th place team in the quarter finals...we get out to a 6-5 lead on the first place team (without Johnny) only to lose 6-8...all in all a very lack luster half...only 3 winning weeks including our 1 playoff win for the half...that's not good by any strech of the imagination...but we did put our best foot forward in the playoffs...we shot lights out against Hemmo's last week...only to come back this week with less than stellar shooting...Hope everyone likes their 1st Half Championship Jackets...it's 5 months till next season starts up...I sure hope everyone picks up some darts between now and then because it's becoming more and more unlikely we will ever see a division higher than 4...we need solid shooters from 1 through 6...right now we are not quite hitting that mark...practice up to show you are ready for next year...
