17-18 1st Half | Commentary

SUMMARY

It's Championship time...we are set to play Paddy Whacks away....we have all 8 shooters...we start out slow going 1-4...then we run out 5 wins over next 7 games to get it to 6-6...a couple missed outs in the next game cost us a win...Ted pulls out a huge double bull takout of a 102...to tie things at 7-7...that leaves us at game 15 in cricket....and you know the story from here...can't hit bulls...can't win....we lose the night 7-8....all in all it was a pretty decent first half...we found a way to make it into the playoffs...we found a way to beat the first place team to get into the Finals...and we found a way to go all 15 games with a very good Paddy Whacks team...we hit one of those missed outs at the end of the night and things could have worked out in our favor...

even though fines don't "officially" count in the playoffs...we still record them...we had 18 team fines...6 under 20's...5 C-rules...6 missed ins....2 squats in cricket...George is the winner of the prestigious "Skippy Award" with 5 in fines...still a lot of fines...once again we had a combined 11 C-rules and under 20's...we have to get rid of the under 20's and C-rules...that just kills our scoring....

for the 12th week in a row we had a team average over a 50...we hit our real goal of a 55 team average with a 55.74...we had 1 shooter over a 80 average...3 shooters over a 50 average and 3 shooters over a 40 average...get rid of those under 20's and under 40's and those numbers could even be better...
